About Joel Penner, Creative Director of Newmediasoup, LLC.
Providing all creative direction for our clients' projects, Joel Penner marries his extensive knowledge and
experience in interactive multimedia, new media branding, video and motion graphics design to produce
solutions that are engaging and unique, while using best of breed technology.
Joel earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Music Technology from Seattle Pacific University.
He then continued his education by studying Digital Design at the Academy of Art University in San
Francisco. After many years of agency experience on both the East Coast and West Coast,
Newmediasoup, LLC was formed in 2001. Since then, Newmediasoup, LLC has created solutions for a
myriad of clients from small, local businesses to Fortune 100 companies. Having a passion for
all-things-digital shows in every solution created by Newmediasoup, LLC.
In his spare time, Joel can be found enjoying the great outdoors or underwater honing his imaging skills.
He also enjoys attempting to perfect the art of BBQ, and playing piano/keyboards with other local
musicians.
